since i've been gone....

It's been awhile, hasn't it?

and i know this because i had breakfast today with a friend I adore. totally adore and haven't seen in 2+ years. she was a candidate i pursued for ministry on my team in MN and then we found a stronger niche for her within the church, so i quickly asked her to be a ministry leadership accountability partner alongside me. she was able to be real, loving, honest, and wisdomous with me as i lead along. she has poise, posture, and pizzazz. she is the kind of woman that makes you smile. i wish we had more time together today. :)

here are the goings on lately...
i went to kenya, africa for 5 weeks last summer. i even went camping for 2 of those weeks. journey 2011 was incredible!!
i have served as a teacher to twelfth graders.
we went to haiti, through 410 Bridge and Choose to Invest this past February: 7 seniors, 3 leaders.
choose to invest is gaining momentum and i am immensely blessed to be a part.
i teach second graders.
i began advanced discipleship training classes - 11 months, 45 weeks - of learning, leading, crying, calling, seeking, counseling, being counseled, pursuing truth, and hearing truth.
my sister got married last summer. that is fun. ;)
lindsey got married. that is fun too.
krista is about to, now, have a baby. that's good stuff right there.
passion 2011 conference - was a snippet of the heavenlies. praise god.

i am finding continued freedom in the journey.
i am not kidding: it is a joy.
