i did not vision a day when i would be considered a missionary.
i did not see this coming.
sure, there is a solid list here of things i did not anticipate: living anywhere but MN, driving anything but a subaru (thanks to dad's leadership as i was growing up), being 28 and "available-to-be-married," ever traveling to africa (it was on the list of things i thought god would never ask me to do, along with going to india), working with middle schoolers or college students (never really thought i was patient or cool enough).
ha.
here we are: i have the humbling and awesome privilege to hang out with students, leaders, and Kenyans....i get to say that my job is as a missionary...i drive a honda accord...
i mean, i have almost always had a nudge within me that life and the choices we make effect something greater than ourselves...i have resonated with the idea that there is a bigger story, but i thought the picture would look different: suburbia families.

i can bring clarity, insight, and prayers around the experiences of traveling globally, and serving others.
i boast not in myself, but in my GOD who made this possible. i brag on a god who has brought me here - there are days when i feel it to be tough and exhausting...but i cannot stop following his leading.
