Being that today was labor day and a fun day off, Emily and I decided to go to the Zoo. But first we thought it would be spontaneous to stop in downtown St Paul to see the RNC hub-bub. Totally random, but proved to be an adventure for sure. We saw lots of cops (in riot gear), lots of barricades, lots of people with badges and press passes, and lots of TV crews. Other than that, we just roamed around and didn't see much. We witnessed history - something we'll not experience probably ever again - a part of the political process in our country. We were tourists in our own hometown, but had fun, cause we are us....A good Labor Day!
