"To cast" - literally "throw,"
So, now "i've" thrown....what do "I" do now?
"I" am 'done' looking @ the circumstance, and shifted my gaze to the Savior....what do "I" do now?
How do "I" approach the Throne? Persistently. Confidently.
Sing a new song!
Psalm 33:3 (AMP) :: "Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully [on the strings] with a loud and joyful sound."
Psalm 40:3 (AMP) :: "And He has put a new
song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many shall see and fear
(revere and worship) and put their trust and confident reliance in the
Lord."
Psalm 98:1 (AMP) :: "O SING to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have wrought salvation for Him."
Isaiah 42:10 (AMP) :: "Sing to the Lord a
new song, and His praise from the end of the earth! You who go down to
the sea, and all that is in it, the islands and coastal regions and the
inhabitants of them [sing a song such as has never been heard in the
heathen world]!"
Matthew 7:7-8 (AMP) :: "Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you. For
everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking
finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, [the door] will be opened."
Hebrews 4:16 (AMP) :: "Let us then
fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace
(the throne of God's unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive
mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every
need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need
it]."
Revelation 5:9 (AMP) :: "And [now] they sing a
new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll and to break the
seals that are on it, for You were slain (sacrificed), and with Your
blood You purchased men unto God from every tribe and language and
people and nation."
