I was able to spend time with a DEAR woman today who reminded me what an accurate word study of the word submission means:: "To look at one another, to see, to discuss, to engage with..." Well, when you put it like that, submission is honor. Submission is godly. Submission is team. Submission is easy.
And lately I have had to submit to God a LOT of things and it was easy. Why? Because He looked at me. Were the circumstances and the things being wretched out of me (the fleshly and wordly things) easy to bear and easy to burden? NO. Did I endure shadowed moments with difficulty and burden? Yeah, a little bit. But submitting to God, that was easy.
We can easily indoctrinate the word submission with a lot of theological context, semantics, and heavy-laden behaviors. Those things aren't so much where I am aiming right now...I am aiming and seeking Truth, the simple and foundational truth....

And this is easy, because it's step by step. One moment by one moment.
Trusting the Spirit within who is living and active. God is good, like gooooooood, SO gooood.
It's the next right choice: Submission; at least it was for me.
Would you just consider it?? Think about it:: Just look into his eyes, speak what you need to speak. He will listen, and he will inform your heart!
