Heavenly Father names us

Psalm 91: 1-2

"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High. Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!” 

2 Timothy 1:7

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."

1 Chronicles 29:19

"And give my son Solomon an uncluttered and focused heart so that he can obey what you command, live by your directions and counsel, and carry through with building The Temple for which I have provided."

“I know that You can do all things, And that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted." 

2 Corinthians 1:3-5

advocate. refuge. covering. defender. lord. almighty god. abba. there's a lot of Names we can give God that are attributes of his character. but i love that there are many things that he might call us. Oh My Dear, speaks volumes and intimacy for me (see video above), but look @ what the bible says:

Fellow-Heirs: Romans 8:17

God's Own Possession: 1 Peter 2:9

Redeemed: Psalm 102:2

i am to be his child of light, the darkness sucks because it just so isn't of me. i am  his fellow-heir, not an heiress to things of this world. i am in his flock, because his community and his shepherding are way better than being my own lambchop. i am his redeemed, not just his renewed. i am choosing to receive this, see this, and know this today. he is author and he is giver of all things.

2 Corinthians 12:9
